Tom Duden Endorsed by Former Lieutenant Governor and Current State Auditor Mike Foley

LINCOLN, NE — Today, former Lieutenant Governor and current State Auditor of Public Accounts Mike Foley issued his endorsement of Tom Duden for the Lincoln City Council's Second District seat.

Foley made the following statement:

"As Nebraska’s Auditor of Public Accounts, my job is to dig into the details, investigate, and provide an independent and accurate review of state and local government. When it comes to proven and trusted leadership, Tom Duden checks all my boxes and passes the test on principles. I am incredibly confident he will bring accountability, integrity, and be a reliable conservative voice on Lincoln’s City Council. He has my complete and total endorsement to represent Lincoln's second district on the city council."

Duden made the following remark:

"I am incredibly humbled and honored to receive the thumbs up of approval and endorsement of Former Lieutenant Governor and our current State Auditor of Public Accounts, Mike Foley. As your City Councilman for District 2, my goal is to shed light on waste and inefficiency in local government operations like Mike has done for many years."

Duden is also endorsed by Attorney General Mike Hilgers, Lancaster County Attorney Pat Condon, Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner, Former State Patrol Colonel Tom Nesbitt, and Lancaster County Commissioner Matt Schulte, in addition to multiple other local retired law enforcement officers and first responders. He is the only Republican candidate for District 2 endorsed by the Lancaster County Republican Party.
